With a healthy dose of "why not", our founder, Dara Vongphrachanh left behind her career in corporate finance to take a bold leap into entrepreneurship in 2015. With no preconceptions about the barber industry, she built Barons from the ground up — not just as a place to get a great cut, but as a space where men could unwind, connect, and leave feeling like the best version of themselves. Low-key tunes, a modern yet timeless aesthetic, and complimentary craft beer and coffee — every detail was intentional, creating an experience that has earned the loyalty of thousands across Memphis.
Today, Barons continues to raise the bar for men’s grooming, expanding its reach while staying true to its roots. With new locations, exciting ventures like the members-only speakeasy, and an unwavering commitment to quality, Barons is more than a barbershop — it’s a movement.
